City of Dallas
Office of Homeless Solutions
The Office of Homeless Solutions was designed to be the change agents in the homeless community. With the help of partnering organizations and community members like you, we offer strategic initiatives and street outreach to overcome homelessness throughout the city by implementing initiatives with consistency, transparency, and accountability. Our innovative solutions ensure our homeless neighbors receive food, shelter, housing, help to overcome barriers, and opportunities for a better life. We seek to provide public and private partners with the tools, resources, and opportunities to join the cause and help unsheltered individuals in our community.
Our goal is to overcome homelessness throughout the City by implementing initiatives with consistency, transparency, and accountability. Visit our About Us page to learn more.
Our Four-Track Strategy addresses homelessness in all its complexity. Explore our Initiatives page to learn more.
The Office of Homeless Solutions’ Street Outreach’s goal is to connect those who are experiencing homelessness to comprehensive supportive services. Visit our Street Outreach page to learn more today.
The Housing Forward led Point-in-Time Count is a federal initiative that is administered by municipalities throughout the country on an annual basis. Community volunteers take a count of unsheltered individuals in their communities and that data becomes the beacon that drives impactful decisions made by the homeless ecosystem.
If you are a homeless individual or family who needs assistance, or you know a homeless individual who will benefit from assistance, please call the Housing Forward Crisis Help Line: 1-888-411-6802.
