TIWS January / February 2023- VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
The City of Dallas Office of Homeless Solutions continues to operate and support the operation of temporary inclement weather shelters (TIWS) for Dallas residents experiencing homelessness. Volunteers are needed during the overnight hours (approximately 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.) at Warren United Methodist Church located at 3028 Malcolm X Blvd. and Oak Lawn United Methodist Church located 3014 Oak Lawn Ave. On Friday, February 3, 2023, volunteers are needed to help close the shelters at Oak Lawn UMC starting at 6:00 a.m. and at Warren UMC starting at 7:00 a.m.
Volunteers for Oak Lawn UMC and Warren UMC should not report directly to the church without signing up first. Sign up here:

Additional volunteers are needed starting at 6:30 a.m. on Friday, February 3, 2023 to help close the temporary shelter. You do not have to sign up in advance. Please report directly to Reverchon Recreation Center located at 3505 Maple Ave.
