We All Celebrated This Day
Moving Day.
Our neighbor moved to Dallas in hopes of starting a new life but soon found himself out of work due to covid-19, and shortly thereafter homeless. With the assiduous response of our Street Outreach Team and the work of our partners, this neighbor is now on the road to rebuilding his life in his new apartment home with a brand-new welcome home kit donated by Housing Forward through their “We Come Home” campaign. He was not only signing his lease for his new home, but also awaiting donated furniture that was soon to follow. Words cannot express the pure joy all felt looking on to see the support of the community. Soon, he will start his new job with the apartment complex as their new full-time maintenance employee. We all celebrated this day.
